Akita is a Research Analyst at Derwent, supporting researchers and consultants with executive and senior-level searches. Based in Sydney, Akita brings a natural curiosity about people and a genuine interest in understanding what drives individual performance.

Akita works across the full research lifecycle – from kick-off briefings and market mapping through to candidate outreach, qualification, and ongoing communication with consultants throughout each assignment. Known for her speed, attention to detail, and clear communication, she brings a psychology background that translates directly into more precise and considered candidate identification across diverse sectors and role levels.

Prior to joining the Research team, Akita worked as a Project Administrator at Derwent, giving her a strong foundation in how assignments are run and a genuine understanding of what is needed at every stage of the search process.

Akita holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Macquarie University.
